Instant Messaging in Cuba

Microsoft announced it was cutting off Cuba from its instant messaging service in order to be in compliance with U.S. law.

This is really an important step forward for democracy in Cuba, because it is well known that the opposition can organize more easily if it cannot communicate. Everyone also knows that the best way to generate good will toward the United States is to cut people off from chatting with their friends and family.
